Kinderkunstendag 2026
Rif is once again jumping on the bandwagon of Children's Art Day and, in collaboration with the City of Mortsel, is organising a surprising programme for young and old alike! Anyone who was there last year will probably remember the miniature train.Scheldt waste landscape, the āRestrontrantā with tasty yet āscrumptious-lookingā food and the performance of the Rif Fanfare. Below you will find our programme for Children's Art Day 2026!

A beautiful dance performance for and by young talent. Zie mij (niet) The performance unfolds as a physical exploration of visibility, of what you choose to reveal and what you prefer to keep to yourself. Young people are constantly navigating between showing and hiding, a tension that lies at the heart of this creation. The performance delves into themes such as identity, peer pressure, vulnerability, and strength. It invites imagination and allows for moments to emerge in which every young person can recognise themselves. Tickets for this performance can be ordered via this link.

The pupils from the Academy for Visual Arts Mortsel have been working with great enthusiasm over the past few months on a unique collection of artistic birdhouses. From now on, Mortsel's birds will be given a special new home in the pedestrian alley of the Deurneleitje.
Rif and the Academy for Visual Arts Mortsel would like to invite you to raise a glass together to the festive opening of this special birdhouse exhibition. Come and celebrate with us and admire the creations during a pleasant reception.
