Rif is once again jumping on the bandwagon for Children's Art Day and, in conjunction with the City of Mortsel, is organising a surprising programme for young and old alike! Those who were there last year will perhaps remember the miniature train landscape made of river waste, the āRestrontrantā with tasty yet āgrim-lookingā food, and the performance by the Rif Fanfare. Below you will find our programme for Children's Art Day 2026! Tickets for the performance Zie mij (niet) [See me (not)] can be ordered via www.mortsel.be/podiumaanbod
11am: Zie mij (niet) ( (all ages)
A beautiful dance performance for and by young talent. Zie mij (niet) The performance unfolds as a physical exploration of visibility, of what you choose to reveal and what you prefer to keep to yourself. Young people are constantly navigating between showing and hiding, a tension that lies at the heart of this creation. The performance delves into themes such as identity, peer pressure, vulnerability, and strength. It invites imagination and allows for moments to emerge in which every young person can recognise themselves. Tickets for this performance can be ordered via www.mortsel.be/podiumaanbod
12u: Opening reception: Nest box exhibition in partnership with Academy of Fine Arts Mortsel
Welcome to the opening reception for the new birdhouse exhibition, brought to you by Rif in association with Academie voor Beeld Mortsel!
