With Percussion Landscapes percussionist Aldo Aranda develops a powerful scenic-musical spectacle that stimulates the senses and draws the audience into a unique world of rhythm, sound and image. With instruments such as marimba, vibraphone, drums and unexpected percussion objects, a contemporary exploration of sound, tradition and technology unfolds.
Live percussion fuses with motion sensors and digital effects to create a constantly changing soundscape. This creates an exciting interplay between man and machine, intuition and control, transforming the stage into a living laboratory.
